DIY: Washi Tape Glasses Case Makeover

Another case, another makeover. This time from plain black to cheerful and fun; with washi tape instead of paint (click here to see my previous glasses case makeover).

Washi tape, or masking tape in general, is some seriously awesome stuff and can be used in so many ways and all kinds of crafts. However, unless you use it on a perfectly straight item, it can be a bit tricky to work with. Also, a dark surface is less than optimal due to the see-through nature of the tape, but i was too lazy and impatient busy to prime the case with white paint beforehand.

This makeover took an hour. The bottom is covered with bright yellow masking tape, and the washi tape is sealed with Mod Podge to protect it from getting scuffed.
