DIY Corded Yarn Belt

Wow, it's already 4 months since my last blog post. How can that be??
Well, probably because nothing excited has happened since then. I was busy with my regular job, my shop stuff and simply not in the mood for blogging.
A few weeks ago I had to close my Etsy shop temporarily, but i plan to re-open it soon. I really miss making and selling things.
With the shop being on vacation mode, i don't have much to instagram about on @annkaydesign, so I created another account, where i can share totally different random stuff from my life ( e.g. my Lilly Pulitzer addiction) without being afraid of annoying or even losing my customers. You can follow my new personal account here.

But now on to my DIY belt tutorial. It's a cute little thing that matches my new summer shorts perfectly.

Materials:
- yarn ( or Baker's Twine)
- scissors
- measuring tape

Total time:
5 minutes

Instructions:

1. Measure the circumference of your waist

2. Cut a string 4x as long as the measured length, and then depending on the thickness of your yarn, cut three or more strings in the same length

3. Twist a cord and tie a knot on one end.

4. Knot the other end

5. Trim both ends so that the tassels have the same length

And that's it!
