DIY: New Year's Eve Tinsel Ball Drop Ball
2013 is right around the corner, and this tinsel ball, inspired by the famous Ball Drop on Times Square in New York City, is a great addition to any New Year's Eve party.

Eggnog Cake

My result:
My cake turned out fairly flat because I used a larger baking pan ( and because i am not a talented/ professional baker and probably did something wrong).
The frosting is adapted from Martha's recipe, but mixed with whipped cream, white sugar and red food coloring.
