Happy Sunday
Three months till christmas, yikes!
I'm so lazy lately, can't bring myself to do anything. I wasted way too much time on Instagram, fighting the algorythm, trying every possible thing to get seen by my own followers and gain new ones, real ones, not those crap companies or super bloggers who follow today and unfollow tomorrow.
Instagram ruins itself by adding stories. Of course it's easier to just swipe from one story to the next, rather than endlessly scrolling down a chaotic senseless feed cluttered with ads.
I switched to a business account in order to get stats, which seemingly made my low visibility even worse. Now I give up.
F*#@ you, Instagram!
And back to blogging, which is waaayyyy more work, but worth it. Probably. At least it feels less like a monologue than Instagram.
So August is gone, and here's a little recap.
Happy Sunday
It's no secret that I absolutely love stripes. Couldn't resist ordering these beauties from Joules. The sweater was a catastrophe, unfortunately. Never ever have I seen such poor quality on a piece of garment. Needless to say I returned it, as well as the white dress. It made me look as pale as a ghost. With a coupon and free shipping, I only paid 15€ for the blue striped dress. Bargain numero uno.
Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday and a June recap.
Hubby surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of 25 roses for 12 1/2 years.

February was a very busy month. This is my review in pictures.
1. Another DIY print:
2. What kept me so super busy, aside from my full-time job and my Etsy shop, was this great opportunity to contribute decoration for the Hopespoken event in Dallas in March. I made 20 balloon tassels, 30 giant paperflowers, confetti, and 250 DIY business cards.
3. New glasses:
4. Tulips:
More tulips
5. And drying tulips the good old-fashioned way
6. New pillow covers for the bedroom
7. I participated in the Minimalistchallenge. One day 1, i deleted my Twitter account. After 15 days, i stopped taking photos. Read more about my motivation here
8. After almost three months, the new "thanks" tags for my shop have finally arrived.
9. February was inofficial donut month. Can you guess my favorites?
10. We had lots of ice, but no snow. Lovely frost pattern on Smarty's windshield
Cheers to March, an early spring and a happy Sunday!

My favorite flowers are back, and since they are only available for a short period, i purchase a new tulip bouquet every week.
I created a lot of tissue tassel garlands and took new photos for my shop.
My favorite new book
Working on a DIY rag rug. It's a neverending task, and i may or may not have it finished by christmas...
One of my Valentine's Day pins from one year ago got extremely popular with 4203 repins so far. Crazy!
We had some snow
I painted our bedroom doors white. It's hard to see in the photo, but the difference is amazing.
Hubby's gift for me on our 9th being-in-love-anniversary
Spent a day at the airport. Oh how i miss flying
And that's my January review.

So, it's 2014. Craaazyyy!
I still remember when it was 1999 and everyone was slightly scared what would happen post-millennial.
I still remember watching "Back to the Future II" as a kid and 2015 seemed to be like hundreds of lightyears away. Wow! So hard to believe it will be next year already. Hopefully i get to meet Marty then :)
Here is my review of the last five weeks.
It all started with this Plopp MisterT brought home one day
Made me realize that our home is actually not as sweet as it should. So i started decluttering and redocorating.
Step 1: Gave more than half of my wardrobe including shoes and make-up to those who need ( #contentmentchallenge Part2)
Step 2, unfortunately in total contrast to step 1: bought new items for our home
Admittedly, i spent way more than i had intended to, but it was totally worth it. I purchased a new rug, chair cushions, pillow covers and bedding. All in relaxing and calming neutral colors.
New window film in the bathroom. Love the bamboo pattern!
After christmas christmas shopping. I saved more than 80% on holiday decorations!
Coffee break at Starbucks
Sushi for dinner. Haven't had sushi for almost three years now!
Our christmas gifts this year:
A Nexus 7 and a beautiful handmade monogrammed leather case for me, and a handmade messenger bag as well a Polar Bear Adoption for MisterT.
Lastly, more holiday impressions:
