DIY "Always kiss me goodnight" Print
Those of you who follow me on Pinterest already noticed my latest obsession with pretty prints. Wish i could buy them all, but i have to stay frugal, so this is a simple and easy DIY print created with Microsoft Word. The font is Segoe Script in cursive and the size is 48.
I am currently revamping our bedroom, getting rid of too much red (curtains, pictures, bedding) and replacing it by black and white. Clean, modern and simple. This print replaces the old red one, that i tossed this morning.

Happy Sunday
My favorite flowers are back, and since they are only available for a short period, i purchase a new tulip bouquet every week.
I created a lot of tissue tassel garlands and took new photos for my shop.
My favorite new book
Working on a DIY rag rug. It's a neverending task, and i may or may not have it finished by christmas...
One of my Valentine's Day pins from one year ago got extremely popular with 4203 repins so far. Crazy!
We had some snow
I painted our bedroom doors white. It's hard to see in the photo, but the difference is amazing.
Hubby's gift for me on our 9th being-in-love-anniversary
Spent a day at the airport. Oh how i miss flying
And that's my January review.

Here's a quick and easy Valentine's Day DIY for all the love birds out there: a handmade "You hold the Key to my Heart" card.
9 years
Today, 9 years ago, MisterT and i fell in love. 9 years of adventure, 9 years of happiness, 9 years of true love.
Congrats, Cheers and tons of confetti to us!

So, it's 2014. Craaazyyy!
I still remember when it was 1999 and everyone was slightly scared what would happen post-millennial.
I still remember watching "Back to the Future II" as a kid and 2015 seemed to be like hundreds of lightyears away. Wow! So hard to believe it will be next year already. Hopefully i get to meet Marty then :)
Here is my review of the last five weeks.
It all started with this Plopp MisterT brought home one day
Made me realize that our home is actually not as sweet as it should. So i started decluttering and redocorating.
Step 1: Gave more than half of my wardrobe including shoes and make-up to those who need ( #contentmentchallenge Part2)
Step 2, unfortunately in total contrast to step 1: bought new items for our home
Admittedly, i spent way more than i had intended to, but it was totally worth it. I purchased a new rug, chair cushions, pillow covers and bedding. All in relaxing and calming neutral colors.
New window film in the bathroom. Love the bamboo pattern!
After christmas christmas shopping. I saved more than 80% on holiday decorations!
Coffee break at Starbucks
Sushi for dinner. Haven't had sushi for almost three years now!
Our christmas gifts this year:
A Nexus 7 and a beautiful handmade monogrammed leather case for me, and a handmade messenger bag as well a Polar Bear Adoption for MisterT.
Lastly, more holiday impressions:
Happy Sunday
Really, today is the last sunday in November? This is crazy! Time flies faster than you can say "time flies". MisterT and i caught an awful flu, and we're both coughing and sneezing and blowing our noses every other minute.
Let's see what else happend this month ( in a totally random order).
My favorite mail once a year: the Tiffany catalogue
Speaking of Tiffany: it's our tradition to buy one new christmas ornament each year, and i would love to have this gorgeous candy cane
But our budget said that spending 1,50€ is smarter than spending 50€, and so we bought this plastic candy cane instead:
I made pumpkin bread
And fell in love with the Keep Calm-o-Matic
This one is great, too ( not my creation though):
Homegrown carrots
The largest:
and the smallest:
Homegrown millet for the screechy birds
Starbucks pumpkin latte und muffin:
My new vintage plaid skirt
Stuart Weitzman liked my above photo on Instagram! Oh Stuart, i love you and your fabulous shoes!
Ljusskal Wild Fig scented candle. It came with a beautiful box and a silver tassel. Adorable!
Crazy glue pattern on my DIY headboard ( tutorial to follow)
The beautiful tree in front of our house
Tea, chocoalte gingerbread and the "Making" christmas issue.
And last but not least: my NYE cake topper in a magazine. Shoe stickers and a bridal bouquet will shortly be featured in magazines, too.
